The Book House Opens Its Doors
Michael and Cherie Christian bought KC Books and have opened The Book House at 330 Eagle Street. The new owners have given the place a fresh look that is pleasant and inviting. They will be filling some of the void that was left because of Majerek's recent closing. The Book House will carry 100 different magazines ranging from mainstream news and current events to popular social magazines and periodicals for hobbyists and collectors. While most of their used books are paperbacks, they also have used hardbound books, new titles, rare books and comic books. They will also special order books.
The Book House is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Sundays they will be carrying the Sunday editions of the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. Stop by and check it out, or call 637-5381.
