Kerry Wins!
Observers on both sides of the presidential race say Senator John Kerry emerged as the clear winner of Thursday night's debate in Miami, taking President Bush to task on what he called Bush's "colossal error of judgment" regarding Iraq.
Bush's responses included simple, repetitive statements such as "it's hard work," and numerous times he criticized Kerry for calling this "the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time." Bush agreed "the biggest disaster that could happen is that we not succeed in Iraq."
Kerry spoke of bringing "fresh credibility" to his plan of developing an international summit to deal with the "incredible mess" in Iraq. He said, "You don't take America to war unless you have a plan to win the peace."
Polls show that Kerry prevailed in presenting a substantial, clearly stated foreign policy, which included details on how to approach the genocide taking place in Sudan and the problem of nuclear proliferation in Iran and North Korea.
